Eligibility requirements

This contact will have to provide the following information:

• Location or domicile of the legal entity based on the corresponding ISO3166 code (http://www.iso.ch/iso/fr/prods-services/iso3166ma/index.html).
• Type of the legal entity:
  • Corporations or companies
  • Cooperatives
  • Partnerships or collectives
  • Government bodies, states, sovereigns or municipalities
  • Political parties or trade unions
  • Trusts, estates associations or societies
  • Institutions
  • Natural persons
  • Other
• Identification forms:
  • Certificate of incorporation or equivalent business registration certificate issued by the relevant government registry as confirmation of the due incorporation and valid existence of the company
  • Act, decree or legislation chartering the formation of entity
  • Societies registry or equivalent registry for non-corporate entities
  • Political parties registry
  • Passport or citizenship ID
  • Other
• Identification Number/Reference Code (Passport number, business certificate number, act or legislation number/code, etc.)
• Other remarks

All the eligibility declarations will be checked before the domain names requests.

Trademarks offices: World wide trademarks are eligible.

The trademarks which are eligible during the SUNRISE 2 (SR2) will have to be registered in national offices which are part of the OMPI standard 3 (Wipo Standard 3).
This standard covers almost all of the countries of Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania (223). (http://www.wipo.int/scit/en/standards/pdf/03-03-01.pdf).

The following bibliographical data fields are required for all the SUNRISE 2 (SR2) applications:

1. Registered trademark
2. Registration number
3. Name of the company where the trademark has been registered
4. Application date
5. Trademark class
6. Registration date
7. Nature of entitlement

None of those documents will have to be provided at the time of the sunrise 2 (SR2), however, in the case of a control the agent of validation could ask for those information, also it will be preferable to send them to NAMESHIELD.

The following bibliographical data fields are required for all the SUNRISE 3 (SR3) applications:

• The documents which prove that the company is registered will have to be provide but they will be checked only in the case of a control.

The validation offices are the companies DELOITTE and AGIP.
